As my prac school has an interactive whiteboard I have to add some ‘tools’ to my ‘toolbelt’ which could be handy if I have to use the board in the classroom. Since I will most likely be teaching math or english classes (hopefully towards the end of the prac, 2nd or 3rd week!) I will focus on these activities.
This site http://pbskids.org/whiteboard/ has many different activities for these learning areas. They are easy to understand with bright colours and easy concepts. This raises the question, what level are the students in the class at? and what concepts are they learning?
Kelly mentions a great resource in her blog that I can add to my toolbox as well.
