Week 2 of Professional Placement

This week has been a challenge to say the least. I have stepped up and taught a few lessons a day and it has been very hard to write lesson plans for each lesson. It has taken hours at night to make resources and write lesson plans. Then email them to my mentor for feedback. At times I have received emails at 4am with feedback for my lessons that day. Talk about pressure! I have been able to use the IWB to direct students when prepared box dioramas with the DMA process. I was able to search for ideas of box dioramas and show the children some creative suggestions. the students loved this as they could refer back to it throughout the lesson and have some visuals to go off.

This is a great site to use if you are looking at animal dioramas as it breaks it down into steps and what we can use.

Wendy Farren-Price speaks about using an IWB in a different way, instead of showing the students ideas and inspiration they actually physically used the IWB. AMAZING!
